On January 24, 2025, Professor Patrick S. P. Wang from Northeastern University in the United States was awarded the first IDSAI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024. The award recognizes his innovative contributions to computer vision, image processing, and biometric technologies. This is also the first time in nearly seven years since the establishment of IDSAI that an honorary award has been presented.
